There are fourteen health professions in Australia which are all regulated by a nationally consistent legislation under the National Registration and Accreditation Scheme. The organisation responsible for regulating these health professions is AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency).
Each profession has its own individual registration authority. The 14 national boards are:
