Rashid Hospital Trauma Centre - Dubai
The Rashid Hospital Trauma Centre in Dubai is the busiest
Emergency Department in the Region, and ranks as one of the
largest Trauma Centres worldwide. It was established in 2002 after
joining the Intensive Care Unit with the Accident and Emergency
Unit of the Rashid Hospital.
The Trauma Centre is recognized in the community as a medical
and trauma centre providing expert and prompt attention to meet
their emergency needs.
Corniche Hospital - Abu Dhabi
Corniche Hospital is a 188 bedded specialised obstetric and
Gynacology hospital located in Abu Dhabi. This hospital is
recognised by the Royal College of Obstetricians and
Gynaecologists, UK. It has 32 NICU cots, 30 SCBU cots, 17-room
delivery suite, ED and OP department and 3 operating rooms. The
delivery unit is Midwifery led and the Hospital is located next to
the sea.
Sheikh Khalifa Hospital - Abu Dhabi
Sheikh Khalifa Hospital is the regions main trauma and tertiary
hospital located in Abu Dhabi. This 400 bed hospital offers adult
and paediatric services, ED, OR, critical care, surgical, OP,
psychiatry, oncology, medical, ambulatory care, home care service,
renal and rehabilitation.

Mafraq Hospital - Abu Dhabi
Mafraq Hospital was opened in 1983 and was at that time the
largest tertiary referral treatment hospital in the UAE with 457
bed capacity. The hospital has expanded since this time to cover
more medical and surgical specialties, including oncology,
lithotripsy, renal and organ transplant, open heart surgery,
vascular surgery,cardiac cath lab, thoracic surgery, cochlea
implant, neurosurgery, urology, paediatric surgery, ophthalmology,
ENT, plastics, endocrinology, dermatology, neonatology,
rheumatology among others. It is now managed by Bumrungrad
International Ltd. Mafraq Hospital is located 35 kilometers outside
of Abu Dhabi.

Tawam Hospital is a 407-bed tertiary care facility (expanding to
500 beds) caring for all specialties, with the exception of cardiac
surgery. Tawam is also the oncology referral centre for the
United Arab Emirates and other Gulf States and is affiliated with
the prestigious John Hopkins University. Tawam Hospital is
located in Al-Ain.
